Frequently asked questions
Headway’s In Memory website provides families with a private and secure online platform with which to share their memories and support one another following the loss of a loved one to brain injury.
It is simple to set up an individual tribute page, on which you can include as much or as little information as you wish. You can also upload images and videos of your loved one.
Family and friends can post their memories and messages of support.
This is a free resource provided by Headway to those who have lost loved ones to acquired brain injury.
For those that wish to support the charity’s work to improve life after brain injury, there are plenty of ways people can donate or support an event in memory of their loved one.
All donations made via the tribute page or associated events pages will come directly to Headway – the brain injury association to help us support others affected by brain injury.
All donations made through the individual’s tribute page or associated event pages will be collated and added to a running total. In addition, fundraising pages set up for Headway through Justgiving and Virgin Money Giving can also be linked to individual tribute pages and money raised through these sites will also be reflected in the tribute total.
Only the person setting up the tribute can personalise or edit the page. As the page owner, you are in complete control of the content of the tribute page.
That’s entirely up to you. You have the option of allowing people to search for your loved one’s tribute page or, if you'd prefer, the page can be set as private so that family and friends can only access it if the unique page link has been shared with them.
Visit the 'How our tribute pages work' section for instructions on how to set up and manage tribute pages and events.
